Sending Hope and Aid to the Philippines After Super Typhoon Uwan

Larry Castro • 10 November 2025

At the Live Like Kayla Foundation, we believe that kindness knows no borders. Today, our thoughts are focused on the Philippines.

A Community in Crisis: The Philippines has been hit by its second typhoon in a week. Super Typhoon Fung-wong (local name: Uwan) has caused severe widespread damage to infrastructure and tragically claimed lives. The footage and reports coming out of the region are heartbreaking, showing families who have lost everything and communities submerged by flooding.

The Power of Giving: We cannot stand by while others suffer. To assist with the immediate humanitarian needs, the Live Like Kayla Foundation has donated to facilitate the distribution of food and water to survivors.

In times of disaster, the simplest things—a clean bottle of water or a warm meal—can be a beacon of hope. We are honored to play a small part in bringing that hope to the victims of Typhoon Uwan.

Please keep the people of the Philippines in your thoughts as they weather this storm.
